What is your profession?

Music Artists, Entrepreneurs

How did you get into the field you are in today?

We started making music because we were inspired by our biggest influences, such as Wizkid, Travis Scott, and Burna Boy. Watching them bring their dreams and creativity to life motivated us to believe that we could also turn our imaginations into reality. Additionally, we see music as a way to help our community achieve a better life without the constraints of politics. In short, we entered this field with the purpose of shaping a new path and providing freedom for the younger generation, showing any kid out there that they can achieve their dreams if they work for it.

What do you love most about your profession?

What we love most is learning throughout the process and witnessing our people pursue their passions because they see us fighting for our dreams.

Tell us more about what you do?

We primarily create music to uplift our community and demonstrate that there is a lot of talent in our country. We experiment with different sounds by mixing genres, for instance, combining amapiano with our hometown vibe, which we call afrobukang, or blending rap with afrobeat, and we also do Dancehall, Reggea, Funk, Trap and many others . In short, we create a unique identity through sound experimentation.

When did you discover your passion for this field?

We started making music when we were around 12 years old, forming a group called Swagg Con Tactica. Over the years, the group disbanded, but we continued making music, even while living in different countries. We realized that this is our passion, so we decided to take it seriously in 2022. Before that, everything felt raw, but now we have clear goals and expectations regarding what we want to achieve and contribute to the music industry.

Who do you look up to in your field?

We look up to many artists, but our main inspirations are Wizkid, Travis Scott, Burna Boy, and ourselves, due to our strong work ethic and consistency.
