What is your profession?
I'm a Rapper/songwriter out of Kansas City Missouri
How did you get into the field that you are in today?
I started by makin joke raps with my homies at their crib and after about a year of still kickin it over there an fuckin around, I realized I really enjoy rapping and writing my own lyrics and bars and such.
What do you love most about your profession?
I love being able to do whatever I want because ultimately I am the entire “Wyd Benny” brand. So whatever I do will make sense and fit within my company because I’m the heart of it.
Tell us more about what you do?
I make music, make clothes, and I model for my own clothes and others on occasion. I like to think I’m talented in a lot of areas and would love to expand on more interests of mine when I have more time and resources to do so. Such as starting a record label, modeling/talent agency, more clothing brands and or collaborations with other brands. I’m very excited to see where my career can take me and I can’t wait to get started on future endeavors.
When did you discover that you had a passion for this field?
Realistically I would say 16 is when I really decided “yo I can do this” and I never looked back since. Nothing else in the world interests me more than making music with the homies and doing whatever we feel like doing/ creating.
Who in your field do you look up...
I’ve always felt weird in the sense of me never really having a “role model” or “idol” growing up or even to this day. I really fuck with Baby Smoove music though, that shit hard. But to be honest i lookup to anyone who knows what they want and chooses to go out and get it no matter their circumstances. I feel a connection between those people no matter if they are in my line of work or not.
