Name Charlie Syn

What is your profession? I am a business Entrepreneur my first business Created is Homestead Upgrades LLC, The main focus is to remodel homes from new roofs: Shingle, Rubber, Asphalt, And Metal Roofing to new decks or restoring decks. Landscaping, painting and carpentry work. The future goal is to get into the field of buying homes renovating and selling. I am also an artist out of Lowell, Ma. I started as a young teen rapping in the tenements and cyphers when drinking for the fun of it. I took it more seriously as I got older when people Would tell me I should write and record. But I was also Deep in the streets so I didn’t focus as much on it then.

How did you get into the field that you are in today? When it comes to work , I was tired of working for other people I learned I had the skills to manage and deligate I also had the required skills to do hard labor so I just recently started my own business. As far as the music aspect it all started around 2010 when I got involved with my Syns (bros) in a rap group called Syndicate also known as S.Y.N . My first song recorded set the tone for me and I fell in deep with it and worked on my craft until now.

What do you love most about your profession? Work wise I like seeing the before and after of the houses I work on. Seeing something go from destroyed to being rebuilt and vibrant to the eyes of the customers and the happy look with the good work done. Musically, I would say putting the Lyrics on paper editing and then recording them on the beats I purchased. The final master and listening to the wordplay I put together. Everything I write has meaning to it or a piece of my feelings at the moment getting lost in the rhythm and putting words to it.its like going down memory lane thinking of situations in past. I enjoy the emotion I put behind the videos I shoot and the performance part . Getting lost in the crowd it’s like I’m dolo tunneled out with lights the passion just flows. I am not new to all this Been doing this for a while from dealing with promotion , club owners, bigger artist, Etc

Tell us more about what you do? I see myself as an influencer, guider , mentor, I implement that in my music and in my everyday life. I help ppl find there way in music , work , and other circumstances as well. I try to be better at music writing, performing and management I strive to be a better version of myself

When did you discover that you had a passion for this field? As a kid listening to music, The influence it had on me. The feeling I got from the beats and the artist from that time. I used to write Poetry so that played a part in it. When I started writing I felt the lyrics they made Feel a way when I wrote and it intensified when I listened to the final track. It’s an unexplainable feeling.

Who in your field do you look up. I would say I lookedup to, Slick Rick, Nas, Jay-z, The firm , the lox (dblock), big punisher, big L, mobb deep, wu tang, biggie smalls, Tupac , 50 cent, and a few others from the 80’s, 90’s and 2000’s hip hop era, I also looked up to the streets which played a big part Of the music and lifestyle that guided me into the music I write today. I thank the higher being for allowing me to still be alive after all the trials and tribulations. I look up to my street brothers for the shit we been through and the growth they all have Accomplished. I thank god they are still around.
