What is your profession?
I’m an independent recording artist/songwriter and producer
How did you get into the field that you are in today?
I’ve always had an interest in music since a kid my favorite musical instrument was the guitar and as i got older my love for music began to grow more.
What do you love most about your profession?
What I love most about my profession is that gives me an outlet to express myself in one of the most artistic ways possible and gives me a way to connect with people that can relate to me but may not have a voice to speak for themselves
Tell us more about what you do?
I currently wear all hats in the music production process from producing to recording, engineering my own tracks to creating and editing the visuals to publishing the final product and marketing myself
When did you discover that you had a passion for this field?
I started learning how to write and produce music at the age of 14 and progressed quickly and once i realized that i no longer had time for video games or the typical things of a teenage boy, I knew then it was something i wanted to do for life and I became more hungry for a spot in the industry
Who in your field do you look up...
A couple artist that i could truly say i looked up to growing up is Wayne and Eminem. I’ve always liked the raw delivery from them when rapping a verse and how they could switch up the flow and sing and carry a tune. It’s definitely a page i took outta their book and learned that it’s okay it’s okay to be versatile
