What is your profession?
I am a Artist/Engineer
How did you get into the field that you are in today?
I grew up around music, I’ve always heard music playing around the house since a kid, from old school to new school. I wrote my first rap when I was in the 4th grade. I never knew what a verse was or how to count bars I just knew how to write rhymes. Once I learned how to count bars I started writing verses and hooks and learned how to put a full song together. I wrote songs during my classes from middle school til high school. I’ve been in talent shows and showcases around the city of Memphis.
What do you love most about your profession?
What I love the most about my profession is being able to express myself through my music, making music is therapeutic to my soul. it’s how I get through life.
When did you discover that you had a passion for this field?
I first discovered I had a passion for creating music when I received good feedback after performing my music in front of people, just seeing the real reactions, and realizing how influential music can really be inspired me to want to take this profession seriously. Seeing somebody cry after hearing certain lyrics, or hearing a song that makes you wanna dance and vibe and feel good just made me want to take myself seriously. Outside if me being talented I genuinely enjoy making music. I would make music even if I never made a penny from it.
