How did you get into the field that you are in today?
I got into music by putting myself out there, networking and performing, selling cds and mixtapes etc. I even gave away merch and albums for free at times just to get the exposure I needed.
What do you love most about your profession?
What I love most about being an artist is the unlimited potential to grow and be creative. It’s some many genres and styles of music and many roles in the industry. You can always find a place that suits you in the music business.
Tell us more about what you do?
I’m a recording artist, but I also write for others and arrange music. I rap mostly, but I can sing too.
When did you discover that you had a passion for this field?
I had a passion at an early age. I was always singing with my grandma but my uncle took me to record my first song at 12 and it stuck ever since. I just loved to hear me on wax.
Who in your field do you look up...
I don’t really look up to anybody but I respect certain artists for what they’ve brought to the game. For instance, Ice Cube, Jay Z, Tupac, Biggie, Nipsey, T.I, Jeezy, Rick Ross, and Kanye. All of them were revolutionary and brought movements within the industry.
