I’m a Bartist. Barber and Artist
How did you get into the field that you are in today?
I started rapping in Kentucky with Exit 94 before I became a barber. I Moved to Florida after my family had left me in Kentucky. Completely being over a thousand miles from everything happening in etown Kentucky I stared thinking of things I’m good at that I can legitimately get paid for and just live a different life, I found a barber school In Lakeworth and enrolled to get my License professionally. I met a shop owner named Loe, he showed me how to fade and I took off from there. I’ve been cutting hair since middle school and naturally just got the skill. I got on the right path, built clientele, a name, and during Covid I picked up the mic again.
What do you love most about your profession?
What I love most about my profession is my freedom. I’m able to do more than just cut hair. I actually give back to my clients and community. I design my own merchandise and run my own campaigns. I travel back and forth to Kentucky for shows and networking.
When did you discover that you had a passion for this field?
I knew I had a passion for this after I shot my first video with exit 94 in 2017
Who in your field do you look up...
