Artist 1: Yanni Vareign

What is your profession?

I’m a recording artist and entrepreneur. I’m the founder of The Reign Records, where I’m building my own label, brand, and visual world from the ground up.

How did you get into the field that you are in today?

Music has always been a part of me, but I really stepped into it when I realized I didn’t want to wait on anyone to create opportunities for me. I took control of my vision, started recording, investing in my sound, and building my brand independently.

What do you love most about your profession?

The freedom to create and express myself fully. I love being able to turn real emotions, experiences, and confidence into something people can feel and connect to. It’s power in that.

Tell us more about what you do?

I create music, visuals, and experiences that represent different “eras” of my life and artistry. Right now I’m in my Pink Era, which is all about confidence, femininity, and boss energy. Everything I do—from the music to the visuals to the rollout—is intentional and part of a bigger story.

When did you discover that you had a passion for this field?

I’ve always had the passion, but I really locked in when I saw how powerful music could be—not just creatively, but as a way to build something bigger than myself. That’s when I knew this wasn’t just a hobby, it was my path.

Who in your field do you look up to?

I’m inspired by artists like Aaliyah, who built their own lane and stayed true to their vision—people who turned themselves into brands and didn’t wait for permission. That independence and confidence is what I respect the most.
