What is your profession?
I’m an Entrepreneur. I’m involved in many industries ranging from music, fashion, digital marketing and health/wellness to name a few.
How did you get into the field that you are in today?
The fields I’m in today is honestly apart of my characteristic. I’m naturally creative and I’m naturally a influencer. Music has always been something I was interesting in as a child. However, I started out as a poet. I’ve had poems published in 3rd grade. On the business side—I had a niche for seeing business and seeing how I can contribute to it. This is why it’s extremely hard to call myself a rapper. I’m too multifaceted. I looked at myself as an Executive before all. I just happen to be really good at creating music.
What do you love most about your profession?
I love creating. I love being able to take a thought or concept and bring it into exist. It’s interesting to see something that was once a thought materialize.
Tell us more about what you do?
I express art through everything. I like to put my experience on wax with the intentions of inspiring the listener. I also bring awareness to brands through influencer and digital marketing. I have my own health and wellness company called Unaverse that sell health products and provide information to those looking to live a healthier lifestyle.
When did you discover that you had a passion for this field?
In entertainment, watching music culture on TV really inspired me. Hip-Hop was played in my household. I grew up listening to artists like Wu Tang Clan, Jay-Z, Nas, DMX, Das Efx, Tribe Called Quest, The Lost Boys and more. My mother listened to them all. I remember being young and rapping certain lyrics. I looked up to the rappers that’s into entrepreneurship like Jay-Z, Nas and Rick Ross. I see myself as one of them. Me having my own label was taking a page out of those guys book.
